The mistake that cost me thousands of $$$

There's a bad habit I used to have that makes me sick to think about now...
It wasted hours of my time every single week.
It was the reason I felt like I had nothing to wear even though my closet was stuffed with clothes.
It cost me thousands of dollars with nothing to show for it.
And I see insanely capable and competent women doing it all. the. time.
Everything I bought was on sale or supppperrr discounted.
Now let me explain this...I love a good sale. Getting a discount on something I would have paid full price for really gets me going. But that's exactly the problem - most of what I was buying, I WOULDN'T have even considered at full price, and that's not because the original price was out of my budget.
In fact, the only reason I bought it was because it was onlyyyyy $20.
Not because it was an amazing additional to my wardrobe.
Not because it was a gold star item that I wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise.
Not because I had my eye on it for weeks and was shopping smart.
It was because something in my brain said ONLY $20?? TAKE MY MONEY!
Turns out, this was a bad strategy and a gigantic waste of money. And I have a LOT of receipts to prove it. My guess is that you do too.
And as we get into holiday season (aka, "{insert holiday here} FLASH SALE" season), it gets really temping to buy things that you normally wouldn't because the deal is just "too good to pass up". But what this is really doing is filling your closet with things that are causing a lot of mental and physical clutter while emptying your wallet at the same time.
From holiday deals to end-of-season clearances, it's prime time for retailers to make you think you are getting a killer deal on something that you actually never would have bought in the first place. And I truly can't handle watching this happen - imagine watching your kid touch a hot stovetop...every single week.
I want you to spend your money on things that are actually going to make a difference in your wardrobe this fall, and I want you to wear them again and again and again until the cost-per-wear is less than the pumpkin spice latte you're drinking while shopping.
This month only...
When you discover your Signature Style with me, you'll be invited to a private VIP Shopping 101 session completely free. I'm going to teach you:
- How to spot quality so you don't waste money on the thing that says designer but is made like Forever21
- How to use your color palette to create a cohesive wardrobe
- What to invest in vs. what to save on
- What to look for when you pick up an item (spoiler alert: it's not the price tag)
- Which fabrics are worth the investment (this is personal)
My goal for you is to keep more of your money in your pockets this sale season (and forever, because this information doesn't expire) while building a wardrobe that actually works for you.
Will you join me?
If you've already discovered your Signature Style (or had color analysis + body type analysis) with me and want to join the fun, respond to this email and I will put you on the waitlist for a future Shopping 101 session!
